Our team performs gynaecological surgery, breast surgery (benign disorders as well as cancers) and infertility surgery.
Our team provides care for all types of gynaecological problems: disorder of the uterus (hysterectomies; treatment of fibroids; abnormalities of the cervix and the mucus), adnexal disorders (cysts or other ovarian issues; fallopian tube dysfunctions); endometriosis surgery; pelvic-genital static disorders: vaginal prolapse, urinary incontinence.
Depending on the nature of the intervention, your hospitalisation will be either traditional or you will receive ambulatory care as an outpatient.
Depending on your situation, different approaches will be offered to you:
Video surgery:
Laparotomy: a surgical incision into the abdomen.
Vaginal route: hysterectomy, treatment of prolapse or urinary incontinence.
Cryotherapy is also available. (It is a treatment which freezes a section of the cervix and it is used for vulva diseases or condyloma). This treatment is performed at the hospital without anaesthetics.
This type of surgery is sometimes helped by a localisation, performed beforehand in our radiology department.
Diagnosis as part of an infertility assessment: coelioscopy and hysteroscopy.

We perform senological surgery within the Midi-Pyrénées regional network of oncology (Oncomip).
We organise in the hospital, multidisciplinary team meetings which bring together surgeons, radiotherapists, oncologists and anatomical pathologists. These meetings aim at offering you the best care plan.

After the operation, an announcement consultation will take place with one of our qualified nurses. This consultation has two purposes:
To inform you about the outcome of the specimen analysis.
To explain to you the follow–up care plan that will be put in place.
